IndieFort is a bundle promotion run by GamersGate. Games from these bundles are usually available through the GamersGate service.

The bundle is run by GamersGate and an account is needed to buy them, games purchased through these bundles are added to the buyer's account. Occasionally, Steam keys are also provided; look for 'steamworks' as the DRM in the game's page on GamersGate.
